Where to eat in Malawi

WHERE TO EAT The main staple food in Malawi is nsima, a maize flour paste served with fish, meat, legumes or vegetables. Rice is also an important food item in Malawi. Most local restaurants will serve you with nsima and rice. However, in hotels tourists are served with food of their choice. Tourists are informed that a dish served with Chambo fish is highly prized for its rich taste. There are also Chinese, Portuguese, Italian, Indian dishes and restaurants that can be found, especially in cities.
